About Roma Roma
Inspired by Romeβs street-pizza masters, our take on pizza al taglio is centered around a long-fermentation sourdough crust thatβs crispy and bubbly, baked fresh daily. Our menu features around eight pizzas with rotating flavors from the classics to seasonal to the unexpected. Served by the slice, whole or half pie, alongside cocktails and house-made gelato in space made for lingering. Find us on 12th and Pine in Capitol Hill.

Great spot on The Hill, they were playing new wave over the speakers, and black and white Italian films on the big screen. The pizza, as always was *excellent. I got the Fennel and Meatball (on the right) and as a fennel lover it did not disappoint. And the Spicy Amatriciana was wholly porky and came with the beautiful dried strip of guanciale. I wanted to try the featured Amaro, but they had run out, so the cashier/bartender busted out a bottle of Amaro Amorino from a Seattle local spot, and it was a perfect accompaniment to the heat in both the Amatriciana and Fennel across the two pizzas

Roman style pizza sold by weight. Some authentic flavors and some fanciful. All delicious.

Very solid. On the pricier side for pizza, but I've never seen an eggs benedict pizza and it tasted fantasic. Good mix of some cheaper options, too. Great spot if you're looking for a more creative take on pizza, and want to order by the slice. I'm going to have to come back sometime to try the cocktail menu as well.

Absolutely amazing pizza, super friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere is great in a cool and family friendly space. The by the slice/pay by the pound is a perfect way to make sure you can try all of the topping offerings, which youβll want to do. Both styles of pizza had a crust lthat was flavorful and perfectly cooked with a nice amount of crunch. The alla pala was light and airy, the in teglia was a little more dense. Both were incredible. Itβs hard to say what was my favorite but it was probably the spicy meatball. The potato and spring onion offerings were a nice change from typical offerings you see other places. Other highlights were the white hot with a Parmesan chili crisp that gave a salty/spicy crunch and the rosso was a nice light bite. Finally, if youβre about the classics the pepperoni was loaded with cup and crisp that was flavorful but not overly heavy or greasy. Beyond the pizza offerings we also tried the suppli, the risotto was cooked perfectly and fried to perfection. This is also a must try when you visit. Definitely looking forward to going back to my new favorite pizza joint!

Came solo during happy hour and ended up with more food than I could finish in one sitting β which is both a testament to the concept and a heads up for first-timers. The pizza (pay by weight): Three strips tried. The margherita was the standout, bright tomato, fresh basil, genuinely good acid balance. Simple and executed well. The garlic chili oil and cheese had real flavor and a satisfying crunch from the topping, though it leaned mild with no actual heat. The pesto was the mildest of the three, very subtle flavor. Worth noting that the minimum strip size is pretty generous, so plan accordingly if youβre solo and sampling multiple flavors. Happy hour appetizer plate (free with a drink): A genuine highlight. The onion sticks were exceptional: crispy exterior, savory chopped filling, essentially a superior onion ring. The porchetta chips had a fennel/anise note that surprised me in the best way. There were also some thinly sliced pickled items with great crunch that I couldnβt identify but kept eating anyway. Chefs did their thing Drink: amaro β didnβt catch the name but it was the right call for the food. The pay-by-weight model is genuinely great for variety seekers. Happy ho
